Moonlit Mics
A monthly open-mic series for poetry and prose lovers alike, sharing the art of spoken word under the ambience of a full moon. These nights are for sharing, listening, learning, evolving, and fully immersing ourselves in the magic.
The Full Moon is a time of culmination, illumination, and heightened energy—the peak of the lunar cycle. It brings things into full view, revealing clarity and emotion. In literature and storytelling, the Full Moon is often associated with revelations and the manifestation of creative ideas.

Full Moon in Scorpio (Flower Moon)
Date: Tuesday, May13th 2025 | Time: 5:40PM PST / 8:40EST | Virtual : Zoom Link
The Flower Moon in Scorpio: Bloom and Transform
According to the Farmer’s Almanac, May’s full moon is called the Flower Moon, named for the abundance of blossoms that signal spring in full fertility. It’s a time of beauty. With the Full Moon in Scorpio, we will stir emotional undercurrents—calling us to transform, release, and reclaim. While the Flower Moon celebrates outward blooming, Scorpio pulls us inward to examine what must compost in order for new growth to truly take hold.
This is a potent moment to reflect on what’s blooming in our lives—and what we’re ready to transform. A time to align our inner world with our outward expression, cultivating authenticity, create from a pure place with depth. Its a time of rebirth, where the unseen manifests.
