Thank you, we left the city after a few people in our circles, and then a dear friend, lost their lives to crime. I was also assaulted in my car one day & then chased in broad daylight another—I couldn’t get ahold of the police department for over 20min, I was on hold for 911. (This all just in a couple of years during covid) This poem may not be the type to get published by literary journals, but it means so much to me.
Thank you, art is so healing. I typically don’t write about any problems like that on here! or anything I don’t see solutions to, I more try to be a “light”, as they say, spread joy, by trying to offer anything I can.
This is beautiful, NJ. 🙏❤️
Thank you 🙏
my pleasure!
"This murder, a blessing." My favorite line. I love this journey from city to country and beyond. Excellent poem, NJ.

Dang. I'm sorry that happened to you and your friends. This world gets crazier all the time. But art is a good way to heal, for sure.

Yes, I pretty much do the same thing but something from the heart and from a real experience can be so powerful. Great work.
