August blurred into September in a haze of heat, thunderstorms, and pages.
I’m toggling between barn chores at Sanity Ranch Sanctuary and the big creative work: tightening the ending of Astral Academy, 2nd novel; writing new poems that wont wait, while their submissions feel like a full time job; and on top of all that, I just started a six month Novel Studio Course to draft my third novel. I’m going to see what it’s like to write a full novel under mentorship which in theory already feels like a warm comfy sweater.
So thanks for being here while I try to make useful work in a very noisy world. I send one email a month, and this is it: below is a summary of Literature & SciPhi’s content from August, and a look ahead into Sept.
