You continue on the path that leads back into the forest. Towards whatever’s been tracking you. You have no fear, just curiosity, or perhaps an unshakable instinct.
Someone was following you, and that someone might still have answers. The trees blur again, but this time it’s different. And then, you see it.
There’s a figure standing at the edge of a clearing. It is tall, but less cloaked than before, and its limbs are exposed. It’s human?
It sees you, and steps forward. You brace yourself, your glowing hand clenched, ready to fight if you have to, or flee. But it doesn’t attack, instead it kneels!
